NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (AP) -Dexter Gray scored 20 points and Iona beat Canisius 66-59 on Friday night for its third straight victory.

Gary Springer added 18 points and 14 rebounds, and Milan Prodanovic had 11 points for the Gaels (10-15, 6-7 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference).

Frank Turner scored 12 points, and Elton Frazier added 11 for the Golden Griffins (4-19, 2-11), who have lost five of six.

Gray had 10 points in helping Iona take a 32-23 lead at halftime.

There were 10 lead changes in the first half before Iona nudged ahead at the break.

Frank Turner scored 4:02 into the second half to cap a 14-2 run that propelled Canisius to a 37-36 lead.

Prodanovic nailed the second of back-to-back 3-point goals with 9:02 remaining in the game to stake Iona to a 54-44 lead. Pawel Malesa's trey with 44 seconds left cut the margin to 63-59 but the Griffs got no closer.
