BALTIMORE (AP) -Marquise Kately scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds and Morgan State never trailed Saturday in a 63-41 victory over Winston-Salem.
Morgan State (14-8) didn't allow the Rams to score a point until five minutes into the game, and raced to a 23-4 lead after a three-pointer by Reggie Holmes.
The Bears have won seven straight games, their longest streak since 1974.
Holmes finished with 11 points on 3-of-8 shooting from beyond the 3-point arc.
Winston-Salem State (8-13) never cut the lead to less than 20 points in the second half and trailed by as many as 31, 50-19 with 17:21 remaining. The 41 points were a season-low for the Rams, who have lost 13 straight road games dating back to last season.
The Bears forced 18 turnovers and allowed the Rams to shoot just 28.6 percent from the field. Darrell Wonge led Winston-Salem State with 11 points and eight rebounds and Jamall Durham chipped in eight points and three rebounds.
