PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Frank Elegar, Tramayne Hawthorne and Scott Rodgers each scored 13 points to lead Drexel to a 65-51 victory over Towson on Saturday.

Rob Hampton contributed 11 points for the Dragons (10-15, 3-10 Colonial Athletic Association), who snapped a six-game losing streak. Jonathan Pease and Tony Durant each scored 12 points for Towson (9-14, 5-8) and Junior Hairston added 10.

Drexel went on a 20-2 run in the first half and took a 25-7 lead, their biggest of the game, on Elegar's free throw with 9:24 remaining in the period. The Dragons hit nine of their first 12 field goal attempts and shot 52 percent from the field for the half to take a 37-24 lead at the break.

Drexel held a double-digit lead for most of the second half despite going without a field goal for a 5:15 stretch midway through the period.
