NEW YORK (AP) -Mack Montgomery scored all eight of his points in the game's final 6:09 to help Columbia rally for a 58-53 victory over Princeton Saturday night.

Montgomery scored six points in a 12-1 burst that took the Lions (10-11, 3-3 Ivy League) from a 43-39 deficit with 9:12 left to a 51-44 lead with 2:10 remaining.

Niko Scott led the Lions with 12 points and John Baumann had 10, all in the first half.

Lincoln Gunn scored 17 points for Princeton (5-14, 2-2) while Noah Savage had 12 and Kyle Koncz 11.

Princeton took its 43-39 lead on Gunn's lay-up before Scott and K.J. Matsui hit 3-pointers and Montgomery followed with his first points of the game on a jump shot to give the Lions a 47-43 lead.

Following a free throw by Savage, Montgomery scored on a drive and a breakaway lay-up off a Tigers turnover to give the Lions a 51-44 lead.

Columbia has won three of its last four games.
