MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) -Lester Hudson scored 24 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Tennessee-Martin beat Eastern Illinois 73-62 on Saturday.
The Skyhawks (13-14, 9-8 Ohio Valley Conference) jumped ahead early and led 39-26 at the break.
The Panthers (4-20, 3-13) pulled within 10 points in the second half, but it was as close as they would get.
Benzor Simmons and Djero Riedewald scored 14 points each for the Skyhawks. Riedewald also had 13 rebounds.
Jake Byrne was the Panthers' leading scorer with 13 points, and led the team in rebounds with seven.
Bobby Catchings and Julio Anthony added 11 points each.
