EDINBURG, Texas (AP) -Paul Stoll scored 19 points as Texas-Pan American handed New Jersey Tech its 29th straight loss 90-64 Saturday night, leaving the Highlanders as the only winless NCAA Division I team in the nation.

New Jersey Tech (0-25) actually kept things close in the first half. The Highlanders, whose closest loss this year was by nine points, trailed just 36-35 at halftime.

But then UTPA (14-13) got hot, hitting 63 percent from the field in the second half, to beat the Highlanders for the third time this season.

Brian Burrell scored 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting for UTPA, and Emmanuel Jones added 14. Most of Stoll's damage was from the free throw line, where he went 11-of-12. He also had six assists

Justin Garris and Nesho Milosevic each scored 13 to lead New Jersey Tech.

The Highlanders had trouble holding on to the ball, with the starting five losing 12 of their 25 turnovers. UTPA lost nine turnovers.
