YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) -Todd Brown's 3-pointer with 32 seconds left gave Wright State a 50-47 victory over Youngstown State on Saturday night.
Defense dominated the final few minutes for both teams. Dwight Holmes hit a 3-pointer with 2:15 remaining to tie the game at 47.
Youngstown State's Vance Cooksey missed a shot from the field and the front ends of two bonus situations before Brown hit the go-ahead basket. John Barber then missed a 3-pointer with 2 seconds left that would have tied it.
Brown led the Raiders (17-6, 9-4 Horizon League) with 14 points, with Will Graham adding 10.
Barber scored 25 points for the Penguins (8-18, 4-10).
