SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP)Scott Morrison had 18 points, 11 rebounds and six blocked shots for Portland State in a 79-56 victory over Sacramento State on Saturday night.
Jeremiah Dominguez had 20 points and three assists and Deonte Huff added 14 points, six rebounds and four assists for the Vikings (15-8, 8-2), who remain on top of the Big Sky Conference.
Jason Davis had 12 points, five rebounds and two steals to lead the Hornets (4-18, 2-9).
The Vikings opened up the second half with a 20-2 run to lead 60-30 with 13:15 remaining.
The Hornets didn't hit their first shot from the floor until Justin Eller made a lay up at the 12:42 mark.
Portland State had its biggest lead at 70-34 after Dominguez made a 3-pointer with 10 minutes left to play.
After Huff's basket completed a 16-2 run, the Vikings lead 31-17 with less than six minutes left in the first half. Portland State led by as many as 17 points on its way to a 40-28 halftime lead.
