NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Anthony Fisher scored 21 points and Amadi McKenzie grabbed 13 rebounds as Tennessee Tech beat Tennessee State 78-75 on Saturday.

Fisher's 3-point shot gave the Golden Eagles (12-15, 9-8 Ohio Valley Conference) the lead, 74-76, with 29 seconds left.

The Tiger's last-ditch bomb by Jarrell Houston at the buzzer just missed.

TSU (10-15, 7-9) had the edge throughout most of the first half, leading by as many as eight points before going to the break with a 36-32 lead.

The second half saw the lead change seven times. It was also tied three times, the last coming at 71-all with 2:26 to play on a basket by McKenzie.

Daniel Northern scored 17 points for the Golden Eagles while McKenzie and Frank Davis had 14 each.

The Tigers were led by Gerald Robinson and LaDarious Weaver with 18 points apiece.
