JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) -Ryan Schneider came off the bench to score 17 points - one of five Marist players in double figures - as the Red Foxes beat St. Peter's 69-61 on Sunday.

Ben Farmer added 13 points and David Devezin finished with 11 points and eight assists for Marist (15-10, 9-5 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference), which snapped a three-game losing streak. Spongy Benjamin and Ryan Stilphen both had 10 points, while Benjamin also pulled down eight rebounds.

Todd Sowell had 15 points, 11 rebounds and five assists for the Peacocks (5-19, 2-12), while Nick Leon added 14 points.

St. Peter's was in command early on and lead 34-25 at the break. However, the Red Foxes opened the second half with a 12-2 run and then took the lead for good when Benjamin made two free throws with 16:35 left to play.

The Peacocks fought back and eventually cut the lead to 57-55 when Darrell Lampley made two free throws with 3:47 remaining. They would not get any closer, though, as Marist closed the game with a 12-6 run.
