LEXINGTON, Va. (AP) -Reggie Williams scored 38 points to lead Virginia Military Institute to a 109-85 victory Monday over Charleston Southern.
VMI (12-11, 4-5 Big South Conference) led 68-35 at the half, and by 41 points at the 14:37 mark in the second period.
Travis Holmes scored 27 points and Chavis Holmes had 20 - including eight of eight free-throw attempts. Willie Bell had 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Keydets.
Charleston Southern (7-17, 1-8) was led by Omar Carter, who scored 25 points, and Jamarco Warren had 20.
