ELON, N.C. (AP) -Adam Constantine scored 13 points to lead Elon to a 65-51 victory Monday night over The Citadel, which remains winless in conference play.
T.J. Douglas and Montell Watson each scored 11 points for the Phoenix (9-15, 7-9 Southern Conference), and Brian Waters scored 10 points.
Austin Dahn scored 14 points for The Citadel (5-18, 0-14), and Cameron Wells scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
Part of the difference came at the free throw line, where the Bulldogs got just three chances and made them all. Elon connected on 10 of its 15 attempts.
Elon led 24-13 at halftime.
