Delaware St. 81, Howard 55

DOVER, Del. (AP) -Roy Bright scored a game-high 26 points, shooting 10-for-40 from the field, and Delaware State defeated Howard 81-55 Monday night.

The Hornets (10-12, 7-3 MEAC) had a fast-paced first half in which it shot 78 percent, landing 52 points and went on a 29-0 run. In all, the Hornets made 11 of 23 threes and shot 60 percent.

Howard (5-19, 2-8) shot 47 percent in the first half and 56 percent overall.
