PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Rodney Green led a balanced offensive attack with 14 points as LaSalle defeated the New Jersey Institute of Technology 87-65 in a non-conference matchup on Wednesday.

Darnell Harris added 13 points for the Explorers (10-13), who had five players in double figures and never trailed in the contest. Paul Johnson and Kimmani Barrett each added 11 points and Sherman Diaz had 10.

Nesho Milosevic led N.J. Tech (0-26) with 21 points and 11 rebounds and Kraig Peters added 13. The Highlanders, an independent team in their second season of Division I competition, have lost 24 games this season by double-digit margins.

LaSalle was leading by just two points, 24-22, midway through the first half but seized control with a 22-8 run to take a 46-30 halftime advantage. The Explorers coasted the rest of the way and took their biggest lead, 73-46, with 5:44 remaining.

LaSalle shot 61.9 percent from the field in the second half, compared to 29.7 by N.J. Tech, which has lost 30 consecutive games dating to last season.
