IUPUI 89, Centenary 61

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -George Hill scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead IUPUI to an 89-61 Summit League victory over Centenary on Thursday night.
Jon Avery had 20 points and seven rebounds for the Jaguars (20-5, 12-2), who shot 56.1 percent from the field and scored 20 points off Centenary turnovers.
John Ashworth had 12 points and LeRoy Nobles 10 for IUPUI.
The Gents (9-16, 3-10) outrebounded the Jaguars 34-33. But they shot just 41.5 percent from the field and scored just seven points off free throws compared with IUPUI's 17.
Centenary did outshoot IUPUI from behind the arc, where they were 10-of-25 compared with IUPUI's 8-of-19.
Tyrone Hamilton led the Gents with 14. Jamere King chipped in 11 and Tim Price 10. Chase Adams had 10 rebounds for Centenary.
