SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) -Louis Graham scored 29 points to lead Georgia Southern to a 77-66 win over Wofford on Thursday night.
The Eagles (18-8, 11-5 Southern Conference) took the lead for good about midway through the first half by scoring nine straight points, including two 3-pointers by Graham, to take an 18-12 lead.
Georgia Southern led by 10 at the half, but could not pull away. A lay-up by Noah Dahlman cut the Eagles lead to 53-50 with 8:53 left, but Georgia Southern built its lead back to 11 points in less than four minutes.
The Terriers (14-12, 7-9) wouldn't get closer than six points down the rest of the game.
The Eagles are second in the SoCon's South Division with a four-game cushion over Wofford and the College of Charleston with four games to go. Davidson has clinched the division title.
Wofford shot just 2-of-19 (10.5 percent) on 3-pointers.
Dahlman led the Terriers with 13 points, while Drew Gibson added 11 points.
Matthew Fields had 11 points and nine rebounds, while Dwayne Foreman added 11 assists for Georgia Southern.
