FAIRBORN, Ohio (AP) -Will Graham scored 17 points, including the go-ahead layup in the game's final minutes, to help Wright State beat Loyola of Chicago 55-51 Thursday night.
Wright State (18-6, 10-4 Horizon League) trailed by eight late in the first half, but closed the gap to three just before halftime. Graham made two free throws and a layup to begin the second half, putting the Raiders ahead 31-30 with 17:48 remaining.
That was the first of 11 second-half lead changes. Graham's layup with 2:15 remaining made it 48-47 and gave Wright State the lead for good. His two free throws with 16 seconds left gave the Raiders a 55-49 cushion, putting the game out of reach.
J.R. Blount scored 10 points for Loyola (9-15, 5-9). The Ramblers shot just 25 percent in the second half and were outrebounded for the game, 37-27.
Wright State's Vaughn Duggins led all scorers with 20 points.
