LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) -Tyren Johnson hit a wide-open 3-pointer with 6.6 seconds left to give Louisiana-Lafayette a 67-65 win over Louisiana-Monroe Thursday.

Johnson's 3-pointer was his only shot attempt of the game.

La'Ryan Gary led ULL (11-13, 7-6 Sun Belt Conference) with a career-high 17 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the floor and hit 7-of-9 free throws. Randell Daigle added 16 points, including four triples. Elijah Millsap had 10.

Jordan Payne, one of three ULM (9-16, 3-10) players in double figures, had 20 points. Jonas Brown added 15, Tony Hooper 13.
