THIBODAUX, La. (AP) -Chris Daniels hit a 3-pointer to lift Texas A&M-Corpus Christi to a 50-47 win over Nicholls State Thursday.
Daniels made the 3-pointer with 29 seconds left and Nicholls was forced to foul after Ryan Bathie missed a jumper with eight seconds left.
Daniels led the Islanders (7-15, 4-5 Southland Conference) with 19 points, hitting 4-of-7 shots from the floor and grabbing nine rebounds.
Anatoly Bose and Adonis Gray each scored 10 points to lead Nicholls (7-18, 2-8).
The Islanders dominated the glass, outrebounding Nicholls 47-27.
