COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Marquis Weddle scored 29 points and hit four 3-pointers to lead the University of Tennessee-Martin to a 82-79 win over Tennessee Tech on Thursday.
The Skyhawks (14-14, 10-8 Ohio Valley), who trailed 36-34 at halftime, hit 62.1 percent in the second half to secure the win.
UT-Martin took advantage with seven 3-pointers from Weddle and Gerald Robinson, who added 26 points and 10 rebounds.
Daniel Northern and Anthony Fisher both scored 19 points to lead Tennessee Tech (12-16, 9-9) and Northern grabbed 11 rebounds.
Amadi McKenzie added 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Golden Eagles and Will Barnes scored 13.
