JACKSONVILLE, Ala. (AP) -Nick Murphy and Jonathan Toles both scored 16 points to help lead Jacksonville State to a 66-48 victory over Morehead State on Saturday.
The Gamecocks (6-20, 4-14 Ohio Valley Conference) pressured the Eagles (13-12, 10-7) into forcing 18 turnovers that led to 24 Jacksonville State points.
Jacksonville State was trailing by four with just over two minutes to play in the first half when they went on a 15-0 run put them ahead 54-43. They never relinquished the lead.
Jeremy Bynum had 12 points for the Gamecocks while Will Ginn came two assists shy of a triple-double with 10 points and a game-high eight assists.
Leon Buchanan lead the Eagles with 16 points and Kenneth Faried followed with 10.
MSU was only able to force nine JSU turnovers and turned those into just nine points.
