Gardner-Webb 86, Campbell 70

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. (AP) -Grayson Flittner and Aaron Linn scored 19 points apiece as Gardner-Webb combined an impressive shooting performance with a strong defense for an 86-70 victory over Campbell.
The Bulldogs (13-13, 7-5 Atlantic Sun Conference) shot 60 percent from the floor, including 10 of 18 3-point shots, and turned 20 Campbell turnovers into 31 points. Gardner-Webb also had a 23-0 edge in fast-break points in winning its third straight game.
Gardner-Webb made 11 of its first 18 shots and built a 27-17 lead on Thomas Sanders' bucket with 6:11 left in the opening period. The Bulldogs then went on a 13-2 run, which included back-to-back 3s from Linn, and led 42-28 at halftime after hitting 7-of-10 3-pointers in the period.
Sanders added 16 points and 14 rebounds, while Nate Blank had 12 for Gardner-Webb.
The loss overshadowed a 34-point game by Campbell's Jonathan Rodriguez, who tied a career high. He scored 26 of his points in the second half, but the Camels (10-15, 5-7) fell to their third straight loss.
