SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) -Deven Mitchell scored 14 points to lead Missouri State to 76-38 win over Evansville on Saturday night.
Missouri State (13-14, 6-9 Missouri Valley) led Evansville (8-17, 3-12) by as many as 18 in the first half and had a 36-21 halftime lead before opening the second half with a 16-4 run to go up 52-25 with 15:23 left.
The Bears converted 21 Evansville turnovers into 34 points, while the Purple Aces struggled from the field, hitting just 27.7 percent on 13 of 47.
Dale Lamberth scored 12 for Missouri State. and Justin Fuehrmeyer had 11. Chris Cooks added 10.
