STONY BROOK, N.Y. (AP) -Ricky Lucas scored 15 points and Stony Brook snapped a 10-game losing streak with a 71-70 overtime victory over Vermont on Sunday.

Michael Tyree added 10 points for the Seawolves (5-20, 2-11 America East).

Marquis Blakely had 27 points and 18 rebounds for the Catamounts (12-13, 7-6), who lost their third straight. Kyle Cieplicki added 14 points and Colin McIntosh had 11.

Trailing by three, Blakely's three-point play with 13.8 seconds left sent the game into overtime tied at 61.

Lucas' jumper midway through the extra session gave Stonybrook a 66-65 lead. They increased the advantage to 71-67 on a free throw by Tyree with 7 seconds left. Cieplicki hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer for the final margin.
