LOS ANGELES (AP) -John Bryant scored a career-high 36 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead Santa Clara to a 66-46 victory Monday over Loyola Marymount.

Bryant scored four of the Broncos' (13-12, 5-5) first points to spark a 10-0 run to open the game, scored 13 consecutive points in a nearly four minute stretch and accounted for 23 of his team's 34 second-half points.

The rest of the Broncos shot a collective 12-of-30, with Brody Angley scoring 12 points.

Tim Diederichs scored 11 of his 14 points in the second half to lead LMU scorers, followed by Orlando Johnson with 10 points and Marko Deric with 10 off the bench. The Lions missed their first five shots in falling behind 10-0 in the game's first 4:07 and trailed 32-19 at the half.
