ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -Jermaine Taylor scored a game-high 23 points to lift Central Florida to a 110-75 victory over East Carolina on Wednesday.

UCF (14-11, 7-4 Conference USA) drained 15 3-pointers in the win over East Carolina (8-16, 2-9). It was the first time the school collected at least 110 points in a game since 1991.

The Knights led by as many as 18 in the first half when Mike O'Donnell drained one of his six threes to cruise out to a 42-24 cushion with 4:40 remaining. O'Donnell completed his evening with 22 points.

After taking a 50-35 lead into the break, UCF continued to roll in the second half, using an 11-0 run to secure a 75-50 margin as it held on for the victory.

Dave Noel finished with 14 points for the Knights, and Chip Cartwright and Mike Battle also posted double-digit totals with 10 points each.

John Fields came off the bench to pace East Carolina with 22 points, and Cory Farmer added 11 for the Pirates.
