BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) -Marqus Blakely tied a career-high with 30 points and set a new personal best with 20 rebounds to lead Vermont to a 94-82 victory over Hartford on Wednesday night.
Mike Trimboli added 22 points as Vermont (13-13, 8-6 America East) snapped a 3-game losing streak.
After a 3-point play by Hartford's Warren McLendon cut Vermont's lead to 61-57 with 9:38 remaining, the Catamounts answered with a 10-2 run to go up 71-59 and Hartford never got closer than eight again.
Morgan Sabia had 21 points, Michael Turner 19 and Joe Zeglinski 17 for Hartford (15-14, 9-5).
Blakely went 8-for-13 from the floor and 14-for-22 from the line, and added six blocks and five steals.
