DAVIS, Calif. (AP) -Lorenzo Keeler had 16 points, three rebounds and three assists in Cal Poly's 66-58 victory over UC Davis on Wednesday night.
Trae Clark had 15 points, six rebounds and two assists for the Mustangs (10-14, 5-7 Big West).
Dominic Calegari had 18 points, seven rebounds and four blocked shots for the Aggies (8-18, 2-11 Big West), who are riding a nine-game losing streak.
Behind 36-27 at halftime, the Aggies rallied back to take a one point lead on a 3-point basket by Calegari to make the score 57-56 with 4:36 remaining.
The Mustangs regained the lead on the next possession on a trey by Keeler and a free throw by Titus Shelton.
After the Aggies missed three consecutive shots, Clark's soft eight-foot jump shot extended Cal Poly's margin to 62-57 with 53 seconds left in the game. As the Aggies continued to miss shots from the floor, Clark and Keeler hit two free throws each in the last 23.3 seconds.
The Aggies led by seven points early in the first half, but was outscored 32-16 in the last 14 minutes, allowing the Mustangs to lead 36-27 at halftime.
Cal Poly collected 24 points from its bench in the first half.
