BUIS CREEK, N.C. (AP) - Luke Payne scored 22 points and South Carolina Upstate snapped a four-game losing streak with a 79-58 win over Campbell on Thursday.

The Spartans (7-21, 5-9 Atlantic Sun) hit 11 3-pointers and committed only eight turnovers in sending the Camels (10-16, 5-8) to their fourth straight loss.

Rashawn Brailsford added 13 points and Mezie Uzochukwu had 12 points and 10 rebounds for S.C. Upstate, which took control with a 17-3 run that bridged both halves.

It was S.C. Upstate's highest-scoring game of the season.

Jonathan Rodriguez had 17 points and 14 rebounds for cold-shooting Campbell, which hit only 3 of 16 3-pointers.

Reggie Bishop, who came in as Campbell's second-leading scorer behind Rodriguez at 12.3 points per game, was held to six points on 2-of-11 shooting. Kyle Vejraska and Jake Wohlfeil had 10 points apiece.
