ROCHESTER, Mich. (AP) -Derick Nelson's 19 points and six rebounds helped lift Oakland to a 84-69 win over IUPUI on Thursday night.
The loss snapped the Jaguars' eight-game winning streak.
Jonathon Jones added 15 points and Brandon Cassise had 14 for the Golden Grizzlies (14-12, 9-6 Summit).
George Hill led IUPUI (21-6, 13-3) with 19 points and Austin Montgomery had 15.
Erik Kangas' three-pointer with 11:35 left gave Oakland the lead for good at 51-50. Cassise followed with one of his four 3-pointers to make it 54-50.
A dunk by Jon Avery closed the gap to 54-52. But Jones' jumper and consecutive 3-pointers by Cassise made it 62-52.
Oakland led by as many as nine twice in the first half and still had 27-19 advantage with just under 6:40 remaining in the half. But the Jaguars outscored the Golden Grizzlies 19-9 the rest of the half.
Bill Van Senus' layup with 3:17 left gave IUPUI their first lead, 29-27, since the game's first basket. IUPUI led 38-36 at the half.
