LORETTO, Pa. (AP) -Mark Porter and James Ulrich scored 20 points apiece as Wagner came from behind to force double overtime and beat St. Francis, Pa. 80-72 on Thursday.
Jamal Smith added 14 points for Wagner (20-6, 13-2 Northeast Conference), which overcame an 11-point deficit in the second half and tied the score 63-63 in the final minute to force the first extra period.
The Seahawks trailed for much of the first overtime before pulling even at 69 to force a second overtime. Ulrich, Smith and Durell Vinson gave Wagner a six-point lead to start the second extra session, and the Seahawks never looked back.
Vinson grabbed 17 rebounds, and Wagner had nearly as many offensive boards (24) as St. Francis had total rebounds (29).
Chris Berry led St. Francis (6-20, 4-11) with 19 points while Bassirou Dieng had 15. The Red Flash have lost at least 20 games for three straight seasons.
Wagner remains tied for first place in the conference with Robert Morris, which hosts the Seahawks on Saturday.
