HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) -Kyle Swanston scored 19 points and Abdulai Jalloh added 17 to lead James Madison to an 89-57 victory over Morehead State in an ESPN BracketBuster game on Saturday.
A 3-pointer by Swanston just over a minute into the game gave James Madison the lead for good. The Dukes (12-15) led 39-29 at the half.
Pierre Curtis scored 13 points on 5-for-7 shooting, and Terrance Carter added 11 for the Dukes.
Leon Buchanan led Morehead State (14-13) with 13 points, and Les Simmons added 11.
James Madison outshot Morehead State 57 to 43 percent, but was outrebounded by the Eagles 29-27. The Eagles committed 18 turnovers, while the Dukes had nine.
