LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) -Kleon Penn was 5-7 from the floor and 5-5 from the free throw line to lead McNeese State to a 77-48 victory over Central Arkansas on Saturday.

Jarvis Bradley and Diego Kapelan were only one point behind Penn, with 14 each for the Cowboys (11-24, 5-12 Southland). Bradley and Penn had seven rebounds each, and John Pichon had eight.

The Cowboys, who have won three of their last four games, made 58.3 percent of their 3-point shots, 55.8 percent of their field goal attempts and 75 percent of their free throws.

The Bears (13-14, 3-10) made only 23 percent of their field goals, 14.3 percent from 3-point range.

McNeese also outrebounded Central Arkansas 41-28.

Central Arkansas (13-14, 3-10) was led by 13 points from Nate Bowie.

The Cowboys led from the outset and were up 37-24 at halftime.
