NEW YORK (AP) -Richard Forbes scored 27 points to lead Binghamton to a 66-56 victory over Manhattan on Saturday.
Mike Gordon added 20 points for the Bearcats (13-14) in the first ever meeting between the schools.
Chris Smith had 14 points, Antoine Pearson added 12 and Devon Austin 11 for the Jaspers (11-16), who had won three straight.
Forbes finished 12-for-21 from the field for the Bearcats, who controlled the paint by outscoring the Jaspers 26-10 in the frontcourt.
With the scored tied at 26 and 2:55 left in the first half, the Bearcats went on a 12-0 run that ended one minute into the second half.
