The Bulldogs (5-21, 1-17) went just 6-for-21 in the first half, and slightly better at 9-for-26 in the second half, ending at 31.9 percent for the game.
Western Carolina took care of matters in the first 8 minutes, running up an 11-0 lead. The Citadel was as close as 15-8 after Phillip Pandak's 3-pointer with 9:26 left in the first half, but the Catamounts ran off seven straight points and were never threatened again.
