NEW YORK (AP) -John Baumann scored 25 points, including seven during a crucial run in the second half, and Columbia rallied for a 68-62 victory over Yale on Saturday night.
Columbia (13-12, 6-4 Ivy League) trailed by 10 points in the first half, but cut the deficit to one at the half.
Yale (10-14, 4-6) led 43-42 with 9:31 remaining when Niko Scott started the decisive 13-3 run with a pair of free throws.
Ross Morin led the Bulldogs with 13 points and Caleb Holmes added 11 as Yale lost its third in a row.
After Scott's foul shots gave the Lions a 44-43 lead, Baumann hit a layup and three free throws while Scott and Baumann each later added a pair of foul shots to close out the run that put the Lions ahead 55-46 with 7:20 to play.
Freshman Asenso Ampin scored 16 points for the Lions as Columbia swept its two games from Yale for the first time since 1998.
