LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) -Steven Moore made a three-point play to break a tie and later made two foul shots to keep Arkansas-Little Rock ahead for a 61-58 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday.
The Trojans (17-10, 9-7 Sun Belt) had a 31-29 halftime edge, but neither team ever led by more than six points.
The score was tied at 54 when Moore, who finished with 11 points and five assists, made his three-point play.
The Ragin' Cajuns (17-10, 9-7) missed their next three shots before Elijah Millsap hit a 3-pointer to cut their deficit to one point at 58-57 with 51 seconds remaining.
Moore hit his foul shots with 42 shots left.
Both teams were 1-of-2 at the foul line after that. Then Millsap missed a last-second 3-point attempt. He had a game-high 13 points, and Chris Gradnigo added 11.
Mike Smith led UALR with 12 points from 5-of-9 shooting.
