Coppin St. 68, Howard 45

BALTIMORE (AP) -Mike Miller scored a team-high 14 points, Tywain Mckee contributed 12 points, and Coppin State defeated Howard 68-45 Monday night.

Coppin's seventh straight win marks its longest such streak since the 1998-99 season.

Coppin (11-19, 6-8 MEAC) shot 56.5 percent from the floor in the first half. Howard (5-23, 2-11) shot only 30.4 percent from the floor for the game and made only six second-half field goals.

Coppin State never trailed in the game.

Eugene Myatt scored a team-high 14-points for Howard.
