MOBILE, Ala. (AP) -DeAndre Coleman had 16 points and eight rebounds to lead South Alabama to a 64-49 win over Presbyterian Monday night.
After trailing 31-19 at the half, the Blue Hose managed to tie the score 47-47 with 7:08 left in the game. Then the South Alabama's Daon Merritt kicked off a 17-2 run that widened the Jaguars' margin to 15 points and sealed the win.
With 13 points, Merritt was the only other South Alabama player to score in double figures.
Presbyterian was led by Bryan Bostic with 12 points, and Al'lonzo Coleman added 10 more.
