BUIES CREEK, N.C. (AP) -Travis Strong scored 20 points to lead six players in double figures as East Tennessee State spoiled Campbell's farewell game in Carter Gym and took a 96-87 victory on Monday.

The Buccaneers (17-12, 10-5 Atlantic Sun Conference) led by as much as 14 in the early going and took a 48-36 halftime lead on 51 percent field goal shooting. ETSU improved to 58.1 percent in the second half, but had to rally from a five-point deficit early in the second half to win.

A 22-5 run capped by a 3-pointer by Reggie Bishop with 15:15 to go gave the Camels (10-17, 5-9) a 58-53 lead. But Strong erased the deficit by himself, hitting a short jumper and a 3-pointer to tie the score with 14:54 left.

After the teams were tied again at 60, Courtney Pigram scored 11 of ETSU's next 13 points to help put the game away. Strong had the other basket in the run.

Pigram finished with 18, Andrew Reed scored 14, Jocolby Davis added 12, and Kenyona Swader and Mike Smith had 11 each for the Buccaneers.

Jonathan Rodriguez had 31 points and 12 rebounds for Campbell, whose loss finished 55 years in its 947-seat gym, second-smallest among NCAA Division I arenas. Bishop added 17, Junard Hartley scored 16 and Kyle Vejraska had 13 for the Camels.
