WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) -Marcus Nelson scored 15 points to lead Army to a 65-60 comeback victory over Lafayette in Patriot League play Wednesday night.

The win snapped Army's four-game losing streak, improving its record to 12-15 overall and 5-8 in the league. Lafayette, which shot just 33 percent for the game, drops to 15-13 overall, 6-7 in the league.

Cleveland Richard had 12 points and six rebounds for Army. Jarell Brown added 11 points and Josh Miller had 10.

Lafayette was led by 17 points from Andrew Brown, who scored his 1,000th career point in the first half. Matt Betley added 16 while Bilal Abdullah scored 12 points.

Lafayette led 28-23 at halftime behind 11 points from Betley.

In the second half, the game was tied at 39-39 with 10 minutes to go. Army reeled off a 10-3 run on baskets by four different players to take its largest lead of the game, 49-42, with six and a half minutes remaining.

With the game tied at 57-57, Richard gave Army the lead for good when he drove into the lane and hit a one-handed shot over the Lafayette defense as the shot clock was winding down.
