NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -Ben Finney scored 20 points and grabbed six rebounds as Old Dominion beat Northeastern 70-58 Wednesday night.
Northeastern (12-16, 8-9 Colonial Athletic Association) led 33-27 at the break. Old Dominion tied the score at 43-43 with 12:35 left in the game on a 3-pointer by Brian Henderson. Jonathan Adams hit a layup with 10:02 left to give the Monarchs the lead for good at 47-45.
Henderson finished with 5 points and Adams had 2. Gerald Lee scored 12 points and pulled down 12 rebounds for Old Dominion (17-13, 11-6 CAA).
Matt Janning led Northeastern with 14 points. Nkem Ojougboh, Chaisson Allen and Eugene Spates each added 11 points.
Old Dominion outshot Northeastern 56.7 percent to 36.4 percent.
