HONOLULU (AP) -Michael Crowell scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Idaho to an 85-77 overtime win over Hawaii Thursday night.

Mike Hall added 16 points for the Vandals (7-19, 4-10 Western Athletic Conference), Jordan Brooks had 15 and Clyde Johnson 13.

Bill Amis led Hawaii (11-15, 7-6) with 20 points. Bobby Nash added 19 and Matt Gibson had 18 for the Rainbow Warriors.

Idaho shot 5-of-6 from the floor in the overtime period to take control of the game, 79-73, with 1:22 to go. Despite making just four of their first 14 free throw attempts, the Vandals went 6-of-6 from the line in the final 25.5 seconds to seal the victory.

After Hawaii trailed for much of the first 40 minutes, Nash hit four free throws in less than 10 seconds to give the Rainbow Warriors a 68-65 lead with 30.3 seconds to go in regulation.

On the following possession, Crowell hit a 3-pointer from the left wing with 22.1 seconds remaining to tie the game at 68.

Hawaii had one more chance to win in regulation, but Idaho?s Darin Nagle blocked Amis? shot from the baseline just before the buzzer.

Idaho led by as much as 15 in the first half and led 33-28 at the break.
