NEW YORK (AP) -Ben Nwachukwu scored 20 points, John Baumann added 18 and Columbia recovered from a 13-point deficit for a 61-54 victory over Harvard on Friday night.

Jeremy Lin scored the opening basket of the second half for Harvard to tie the score at 25, but Baumann triggered a 6-0 spurt with a rebound basket and the Lions (14-12, 7-4 Ivy League) held on the rest of the way for their sixth win in seven games.

Harvard (8-19, 3-8) used a 17-0 run to take a 17-4 lead before the Lions closed the first half with a 21-6 burst over the final 6:09 to go ahead 25-23 at halftime.

Brad Unger led the Crimson with 13 points, Drew Houseman had 11 while Lin and Evan Harris scored 10 points each. Harvard has lost eight of 10

Baumann scored 10 points in the second half to help the Lions build a 50-40 lead with 2:58 to play.

Columbia failed to make a 3-pointer for the first time this season, missing all 12 attempts.
