PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -Damon Huffman scored 18 points and Chris Skrelja collected 12 rebounds and 11 points in leading Brown to a 64-57 win over Princeton on Friday night.

Brown (16-9, 8-3 Ivy League), climbed to within one win of tying its all-time-best 17 victories, (1974, 2002, 2003) in a season. Princeton, 0-12 on the road, fell to 5-20, 2-8 in the league.

Matt Mullery and Mark McAndrew added 14 points apiece for the Bears, who used a 14-0 run in the second half to overcome a five-point deficit after leading 30-27 at intermission.

Princeton led by as many as eight midway through the first half before the Bears tied it at 27-27 with 43.2 seconds left and Huffman shot a 3-pointer at the halftime buzzer.

Noah Savage and and Nick Lane had 16 points each to lead the Tigers.

Brown led by 12 points with 3:51 left to play. Savage narrowed the gap to six with a 3-point shot with 2:00 to go.

Princeton out-rebounded the Bears 34-28 in a game that saw seven lead changes. But Brown shot 45.5 percent from the floor to the Tigers' 40.4 percent. Huffman made 6 of 12 from the field and 3 of 7 from 3-point range.
