CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -Dustin Scott scored 19 points, including 14 in the second half, and grabbed 10 rebounds to help College of Charleston beat Furman 77-59 in both teams' regular season finale Saturday.

The Cougars (14-16, 9-11 Souther Conference) broke open a 41-39 game in the second half with a 16-0 run over six minutes to go up 57-39 on a Scott layup with just over 10 minutes remaining.

Furman (7-21, 6-14) trailed just 33-30 at the half, but went cold in the second half, making just two of nine 3-pointers in the period.

George Brozos scored a career-high 23 points on 8-of-15 shooting for the Paladins and Justin Dehm added 10.

Tony White Jr. had 12 points for Charleston and Jeremy Simmons added 10.

It was the final game for the Cougars in John Kresse Arena as they will move to the Carolina First Center next season.
