STATESBORO, Ga. (AP) -Stephen Curry scored 35 points and Davidson extended the nation's longest winning streak to 19 games in a 89-69 rout over Georgia Southern on Saturday night.

The Wildcats (23-6, 20-0 Southern Conference) have not lost in two months since a 66-65 lost to North Carolina State on Dec. 21, 2007.

Georgia Southern (20-11, 13-7) cut the lead to 42-37 with 19:27 left in the second half on a basket by Matthew Fields, who finished with 10 points, six rebounds and three steals.

But Davidson later pushed its lead to 69-51 with 9:17 remaining in the game, capped by Curry's 3-pointer. The Wildcats went ahead by 28 points - their largest of the game - with 7:02 left when Bryant Barr hit a 3-pointer to make it 80-52.

Jason Richards finished with 12 points and 12 assists for Davidson, while Boris Meno scored 16 and grabbed nine rebounds. Curry, who entered the contest averaging 25 points a game, made 7-of-9 shots from beyond the arc.

Anthony Marshall and Dwayne Foreman scored 15 points apiece for the Eagles. Julian Allen had 12 points.

Both teams will have first-round byes in the conference tournament next week.
