RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -Tywain McKee scored 26 points and seventh-seeded Coppin State held Norfolk State scoreless in the final 4.5 minutes to take a 67-65 victory Friday in the semifinals of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference tournament.

The Eagles (15-20) will face top-seeded Morgan State (22-9) in the championship game Saturday night.

Michael Deloach scored 15 points, including two free throws, to put third-seeded Norfolk State up 65-63. But Coppin State held the Spartans scoreless for the final 4:29, and McKee hit four free throws down the stretch, including two in the final 1:02, for the winning margin.

Norfolk State had two chances to tie or win, the game in the final 30 seconds.

Tony Murphy forced a 3-pointer that was rebounded by Joseph Dorsett-Jeffreys, who was tied up for a jump ball with the arrow giving possession to the Spartans.

Murphy got the inbounds pass in front of his bench and, instead of going to the basket, tried to dribble to the top of the arc. He was double-teamed and threw a pass that was picked off by Coppin State's Julian Conyers.

Murphy helped get Norfolk State back in the game as he scored 15 of his 20 points in the second half, helping the Spartans overcame a 13-point deficit.

Dorsett-Jeffreys scored 12 points for the Spartans.

Coppin State has been the hottest team in the league, winning 11 straight games and 16 of 17.
