Parmer scores 14 points as Florida Atlantic beats Longwood, 93-69

BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) -Jeff Parmer scored 14 points to lead Florida Atlantic to a lopsided 93-69 win over Longwood on Monday night.

Sean Alarcon had 13 points for Florida Atlantic (12-14) and Carlos Monroe chipped in 11.

Parmer also pulled down six rebounds, and Carderro Nwoji added 10 points.

Florida Atlantic led by as much as 37 points in the first half and never trailed. FAU, which has won five straight, entered the break leading 55-18.

The Owls led by as much as 43 points in the second half.

Lamar Barrett finished with 16 points and six rebounds for Longwood (6-22). Kirk Williams and Ryan Bogan each had 13 points. Williams also had six rebounds.
