Erstad is continuing his recovery from a right ankle injury, playing with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga. Erstad was expected to take Sunday off, but is expected to play the next two nights before being re-evaluated. If his ankle can handle the stress, Erstad is expected to rejoin the Angels on Friday, when the rosters expand.
